Team Management in SME business

For a small-sized company, how can the resources be arranged to avoid overlapping of work?
In this business environment, it allows different size companies ranging from one-man business to big corporations to be effective as long as they are using a good operation approach.

No matter the number of employees a company has, the key is – it is a team.

4 important points are:

1. Define the business goal and communicate.

Clearly explain it to all employees so that they know why the company exists and how the business goal can be measured.

2. Know the product and service.

Make sure all employees know and understand the company product or service offered.

3. Define business processes and tasks.

Identify processes and tasks involved in the business, and the relationship between each process and tasks.

4. Assign and make the team.

Mark the process/task to the right employee, communicate to all, and make them as one team.

As a team, everyone knows and manages their responsible tasks, contributes their value to the process, supports others when gaps come up, and is flexible to move when it calls for.
