I have watched a youth orchestra performance some weeks ago, it was amazing to see the kids and teens showing their great commitment, their passion and togetherness on the stage particularly during this challenging period of Covid 19.
An orchestra performance is an artistic teamwork, every instrument every musician is important, no matter it is an instrument group in the middle of the stage or at the side or at the back. An orchestra counts on each musician to do his or her part and be together as a team. My learning from that orchestra is:
- Live up to your responsibility and more
- Never underestimate the value of a single member
